The United States Congress urgently needs to learn from history, wise up, and rise up against all who disobey the rule of law, the courts, their oaths, and the Constitution of the United States.
Advocacy always requires speaking truth to power. It takes selfless courage. I am forever walking the tightrope between being a human rights advocate and my faith, which teaches me to see the face of God in every human being.
The daily non-stop news of cruelty and injustice that happens every day now in the United States under the Trump Regime is hard to process, let alone forgive.
There has been zero accountability for the January 6, 2021, Trump-led insurrection, stolen Classified documents, felony convictions, tax fraud, sex trafficking victims, ICE murders and brutality, and a list of inhumanity that never ends.
Delayed justice is no justice at all. Only guilty people do everything they can to keep the truth from coming to light.
As Americans are finding out, the path to Democracy is never complete nor is it guaranteed.
Cruelty, corruption, and self-enriching politicians are the ultimate betrayals, not only of the teachings of Christ, but also of the founding fathers who wrote the Constitution, our ancestors, and every American who fought and died for personal freedom over the past 250 years.
Congress Cannot Serve Two Masters
Money is the root of all evil, and it is on full display in the Congress of the United States of America.
I did not watch the State of the Union address on February 24 because President Donald Trump constantly lies and never provides specifics or data from credible sources, such as court documents or verifiable facts.
Trump blusters something untrue and terrifying to rile up his base, so they react emotionally instead of asking questions and doing their own research about what is true or false.
All the Americans I know are hard-working people who do what it takes to take care of their families. I have lived most of my adult life in border states. As a matter of fact, I am currently living in a state where white people are in the minority.
I love the different cultures and would rather live next to a family who risked their lives walking miles in scorching heat through the desert than next to the White Evangelical Christian Nationalists who send a Christmas card with all the family members proudly displaying their guns in front of their tree.
God And Guns! I wonder which version of the Bible that commandment came from. 😉
Over 60% Of Americans Live Paycheck To Paycheck
Working-class people work extremely hard to get ahead. But instead of their hard work being valued, many feel exploited and taken advantage of by their employers.
For decades, the American Dream has not happened for their families, even though it continues to be promised by Wall Street politicians who are willing to sell their souls to get another four years in office with all the perks and no accountability.
As written in the Bible, you cannot serve two masters. The elected Congressional members cannot effectively represent the interests of their constituents who voted them into office, and their Big Money, Corporations, and Wall Street funders, who exploit them.
At this moment of crisis, it is crystal clear which side Donald Trump has always been on. In Trump’s world, only billionaires and people who pledge loyalty to him matter. All others are disposable.
Campaign Re-Elections First Constituents Last
Too many elected corporate politicians on both sides are eating from the Big Money Billionaire Buffet to fund their campaigns. We the People need to demand that Citizens United be overturned and no more Big Money funding for politicians in United States elections.
AIPAC (American Israel Public Affairs Committee)
AIPAC is dedicated to securing bipartisan support for policies that benefit Israel (No America First there). Under Federal law, this organization can keep the identities of the biggest donors confidential.
In addition to the number of senseless deaths, the number of people injured from the war is 171,079.
Trump said he would be the Anti-War President. All the Americans I know do not want our country to be at war at all. Just one more lie that helped him get elected.
Any politician on either side of the aisle who accepts money from a PAC to help one nation destroy another nation’s people and children so cruelly as in genocide does not deserve to represent Americans. No more American taxpayer money should be used for funding cruelty and wars. Vote those politicians out!

Every American I know was heartbroken and against the war that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was responsible for. The International Criminal Court issued an arrest warrant for Netanyahu on November 21, 2024. Its mission is to hold individuals criminally accountable for genocide, war crimes, crimes against humanity, and aggression.
Americans are also against the ongoing war in Ukraine. There is little news coverage of wars in the United States because that would ruin Trump’s image as being a “peacemaker” and a “unifier”.
In my opinion, Donald Trump did little to re-establish peace in either of those inhumane battlegrounds. The loss of lives he should have helped will be on his soul.
Trump Talks About Not Knowing If He Will Make It To Heaven
I have noticed that Trump talks more and more about not knowing if he will make it into heaven.
Every day, President Donald Trump has the power to help all Americans live better lives, which would instantly win him the love and adoration he seeks. Unfortunately, he never makes that choice.
As I always state in my political posts, I am not anti-Trump. I am pro-Democracy and pro-Truth. I pray daily that he reconnects with God and begins to make decisions solely based on WWJD (What Would Jesus Do). And I pray for peace, empathy, justice, community, and courage for the leaders of our country and all the people living here.
The Buddhist Monks, along with Aloka, during their courageous and inspirational Walk for Peace, learned more about the American spirit than most of the politicians currently serving to protect and meet the needs of the American people.
Congress Caves To Trump Threats
Since Day One of Trump’s second term, Republicans and Democrats continue to cave under threats of not being endorsed by him, being primaried, death threats, and the ineffective leadership of both parties.
Just because Donald Trump thinks and says he can do whatever he wants as President does not make it true. The United States presidency is one of the three coequal branches of government. The other two branches, in my opinion, have not risen to meet this blatant Fascist takeover of our democracy.
Congress, Use Your Constitutional Power!
We all need to understand the urgency of this moment.
Congress has the legal and moral duty to remove Donald J Trump or any president who thinks they are above the law and whose actions violate the Constitution and the laws of the United States of America.
THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES HAS THE SOLE POWER TO IMPEACH
Article ll, Section 4 of the Constitution reinforces the separation of powers by giving the legislative branch the authority to ensure that high-ranking officials cannot abuse their power without consequences.
CONGRESS, DO YOUR JOB. THIS CRUELTY AND CHAOS MUST END.
To date, only one representative in the House, Representative Al Green, has had the courage and compassion to file Articles of Impeachment against Donald Trump and force a vote! According to Jessica Denson, Founder of the Removal Coalition, the AIPAC Democrats are trying to push Representative Al Green out. How deceitful and self-serving is that?
Trump is guilty of endless impeachable offenses and ordering criminal acts. Every member of the House of Representatives should just pick one offense and pursue this Constitutional remedy.
The biggest cover-up in American history of the rich and powerful is happening, and neither the Democrats nor Republicans will use the Constitutional process in place to restore stability to our country and end the Trump Regime of Retribution and Robbery.
Ask yourself why not and what’s in it for all of them?
RULE lX OF THE HOUSE FORCE VOTE ON IMPEACHMENT
The Speaker of the House does not have any authority to change the course of action or bury the resolution. Invoking Rule lX does not require special prior permission, such as from the member’s party caucus or a committee chair. So, you see, the solution is available to all those with the courage to be a hero and do the right thing.
A single representative can trigger an up-or-down vote and force all representatives in the House to go on the record. All Americans, regardless of party affiliation, deserve to know how their elected member of Congress would vote on the impeachment of Donald Trump.
THE SENATE CONDUCTS THE TRIAL
The Senate conducts the trial and requires two-thirds of members to be present to convict and remove the President or other official from office. The Chief Justice presides over Presidential impeachment trials. Conviction can also include disqualification from holding future federal office, though criminal prosecution may follow separately.
Democrats, Learn From Your Collective Weakness
I have not been able to figure out exactly who the “guiding forces” of the Democratic Party are, but I do know this about them. They are out of touch with their base until they need money from them. For decades, they have not connected with or validated the pain and frustration of many working-class American families.
Their consultants and leaders got it wrong when they thought Hillary Clinton would be a no-brainer vote against Celebrity Apprentice Donald Trump in the 2016 election. A big reason she lost was running to the center instead of having a progressive message of people and workers first, not corporations.
They got it wrong a second time when they thought surely Kamala Harris, Vice President of the United States, would beat an insurrectionist, convicted felon, and adjudicated sexual abuser in the 2024 election.
I think time will prove that Kamala Harris actually won in 2024. It made no sense at all that Donald Trump flipped seven swing states. Credible voting security experts and organizations have been investigating the voting machines and results since the November 4, 2024, election.
And it appears that the same people who got it wrong twice are now advising their dutiful to tell Americans, “It’s not the right time for impeachment.” Or, we don’t have the votes.” Or, “it’s not the best use of time since the Republicans have the majority in all three branches of government.”
Why do you think Trump and the Republican Party are not afraid of Chuck Schumer or Hakeem Jeffries? Gee, do you think the above statements might be the reason? The Republicans are quite skilled at pushing the Democrats around and taking total advantage of their weakness and fear of offending anybody.
The Democrats do a good job of calling out the cruelty and devastation we are all living in, but collectively will not take real action to apply the Constitutional power they have to solve and stop the destruction of America.
Every step of this ten-year-long, dark journey, the Democrats have underestimated how sick and tired our nation is.
Get The Cancer Out

During the Remove The Regime Protest on November 22, 2025, John Pavlovitz shared this with the mass of peaceful protestors against the lawless Trump Regime. His speech captured the freedom-threatening malignancy created by the malignant narcissist.
“Never again means not today. Peaceful, legal, Constitutional-this is how we must get this cancerous president out.
So, for our Latino and immigrant neighbors, we need to get the cancer out.
For survivors of sexual assault, we need to get the cancer out.
For our beloved queer neighbors, we need to get the cancer out.
For people living in food scarcity and at the edge of poverty, we need to get the cancer out.
For Christians, Muslims, Jews, Buddhists, Sikhs, Hindus, Agnostics, and Atheists, we need to get the cancer out.
For the vulnerable, the oppressed, the marginalized, the sick, and the hungry, we need to get the cancer out.
For Democrats, Republicans, and Independents, we need to get the cancer out.
For Conservatives, Moderates, and Liberals, we need to get the cancer out.
And for the America that could still be, we need to get the cancer out.
So, let’s make sure that love has the last, loudest word, friends.
We must impeach, convict, and remove Donald Trump, and then we can get well. We will get well, America. We will all be well.”
The Spirit Of America Is Multicultural And Multifaith
Because we are a multicultural and multifaith democracy, we all have different worldviews, experiences, and understandings of what it means to be an American.
How about giving acceptance a try and appreciating that not everyone’s America looks like yours. How about giving empathy and peace a chance. No one is asking you to change. Just live and let live.
Nothing shows the real spirit of the American people like the signs you see during protests. Below are some of my favorites.
- We know what we’re fighting for. Not another endless war.
- Money for jobs and education. Not for ICE and deportation.
- Tell me what America looks like. This is what America looks like.
- Say it loud. Say it clear. Immigrants are welcomed here.
- Danger! Danger! There’s a Pedo in the White House.
- Workers Over Billionaires. No more trickle-down wages.
- We want ICE off our streets. We want justice. We want peace.
- Say her name. Renee Good. ICE out for Good. Justice for Good.
- The people united will never be divided.
- Black people aren’t apes, a sign held up by Representative Al Green during the 2026 State of the Union Address.
In closing, a message came to me before I began writing this post. I was guided to Acts 7:53 which reads, “You who have received the law that was put into effect through angels have not obeyed it.”
I hope American leadership will reconnect with its angels, wise up, and rise up sooner than later. Time is precious, and so are people’s lives.
I keep thinking about the words of the song Heal the World. “There are people dying. If you care enough about the living, make a better place for you and for me.”

Tough Cookie Tip: Human beings need connection. In healthy societies and democracies, belonging is built and maintained because of shared humanity. Community is not determined by conformity. In other words, you can only belong if you think, feel, and worship the same way as you are told to. Systems of punishment and control divide people in that way. That is narcissistic abuse on a massive social scale. Sadly, that is the real state of our union on this date.
Americans, demand more from your representatives in Congress! Most of them seem to have forgotten who their paycheck comes from. HINT: It is not DJT.
